Can anybody give me some names of metal songs where vocal delay is used? Particularly delays automated on at the end of phrases that repeat the last word.

I usually just cut out the word i want to repeat on phrases and duplicate it and automate the volume level for each word repeated.. It just takes allot more time automating the delay to do the same thing.

Are you serious Christian? Are you serious Christian? Are you serious Christian?:D

Back on topic; Unearth-The March have a couple of obvious delay on vocals.

Just click the Equinox link in my sig. I use faint delay to give dimension to the vocals and it can be noticeably heard on every track except track 4, which uses no vocal delay.

Theres a band that Joey Sturgis has recorded by the name of "Of Mice & Men" and their newest record is definitely one of my top 3 favorite albums joey has produced (production wise). Theres many songs on the album where he floods the vox in delays or uses it as an effect. Look it up! the album has pretty cool effects.

This is a great idea, it takes forever to get it right , using its own delay just for the repeat etc...

Tried listening to "The Depths" on youtube to hear what you're talking about, doesn't seem to be delay fx on there but man does that singer grate on my nerves. And he's mixed so loud it hurts
