Vocal mic

Why ? is it hard to handle ? im intersting in getting one

It has a very low output, therefore requiring a mic pre with lots of clean gain... That means a pre that costs big $$$. If you don't have access to such pre's, then your engineering chops will have to save you by optimizing your gain staging.

AT4040 is the way to go for a beginner on tight budget.

Yeah but I said in the range of 2-500 dollars USD. I was welcoming anything from 200 to 499 so if you got something you like better then by all means.

OH and just to make sure that I was being clear: CLEAN VOCALS FRIENDLY, NOT FOR SCREAMING.

Rode NT2A sounds beautiful on cleans. you can get them for about 400 bucks. The audio technica mics in the same price range are also nice. I've never found any Shure condensers that I really like for vocals but maybe I'm a shithead.

That's why I said 4040. I gave you a link to one on egay for $249.99. The 4050 that Gnash suggested is even better but closer to the top of your budget.
