I have to play sharades for these guys, making a retard voice, same concept as doing the crazy death metal vocals. All comes from the abdomen. Not from the throat all the time.

making a retard voice and then gargling in the back of the throat works for me.... i was growling along with kill for god... and i can almost growl like nathan... almost... not quite as low...

I try doing long drawn out death metal vocals but I always lose my breath, I guess good death metal vocals comes from years of practice. Nathan didn’t always sound the way he does now, if you were to hear the white tape in 1998 (entombed/napalm death style vocals), and demos around that (low grunting vocals), you can hear shortness of breath and not a very clear pronunciation of words.



His vocals I think kick much ass now.

His vocals are amazing, yea when my friend growls he uses his abdomen, i do the really like devilish yellin in the band so i just really use my throat. I have a question, how much and when does Mark do his high pitched screams, i mean i can tell sometiems, but i just want to make sure.

Deepest vocals I heard were Retch, and Devourment. Nathan can sometimes joke around and do a Dani Filth style vocal but even better. But that would sound awful in our band. Mp3 sounds cool, was this a real band, guys played shows?
