Vocalists

juste try their music on youtube and you will know if you like them or not. But for me Golden Resurrection is better than narnia

Matt Smith
Danny Worsnop-Asking Alexandra (he can pretty much do it all, scream, growl, clean)
James Labrie-(no explanation needed)
Scooter Ward-Cold (very rich voice)
Chino Mereno-Deftones (best at screaming)

Yeah man, i LOVE his voice. Sure, by the time he was 30, he couldnt sing live cuz of drinking. I love Dragonforce, but their mixing is horrible. And "So far Away" Is in 20 of 38 songs lol

If they spent half the time practicing on writing simpler songs (with a dash of FLOW) they'd be the leaders in melodic metal.

Yep, all their song are about fighting demon hordes, never dying and it's all 'so far away'. However, personally I don't dislike 'em that much. Yes, their mixing is terrible, yes their live play is terrible, yes they use their authentic 'metal song formula' in every single song of theirs, and yes it seems like the lyricist wrote all their lyrics on one evening while watching TLOTR on shrooms, but hey, it's easy on the ears and makes me walk faster.:D

To contribute also to the actual thread subject:
I'm quite curious about their new vocalist, he seems to be an improvement to me...

I loved ZP's Voice. Dragonforce's lyrics are a bit lacking- however their guitarist was trying to prove a point, and it wasnt about fighting dragons and stuff. Unfortunately, the bad writing did make the real point impossible to find, and Herman is bad at explaining it. And theyve gotten better live with Marc.

My list could go on forever, and you would probably have never heard of most of the people, but here's just a few in no particular order.

Johanna Aaltonen (HB)
Matthias Nygard (Turisas)
The lead vocalist of Tyr
Tarja Turunen (Nightwish, solo)
Tony Kakko (Sonata Arctica)
Matt Smith (Theocracy)
Roy Khan (Kamelot)
Fabio Lione (Rhapsody of Fire)
Russell Allen (Symphony X)

Not even close to finished... >.> I'll probably add more later~
