do you ever use some kind of FX in front of the vocals or after to get those black metal kind of screems/grunts like arch enemy or is it all pure and recorded clean ?

Rather than make a seperate post about this I thought I'd just add it to this one as it's similar... what kind of reverbs do you use on vocals?

I've got my dry vocals recorded and want to get fuller, more spacious sounding vocals but without the muddiness that reverb sometimes adds. Any tips?

Those vox are recorded clean. Compressed pretty hard, and a touch of reverb and delay in places. No great secret
