This is generally aimed towards Paul, but I'd love input from everyone else to.

I was wondering if you do any vocal exercises before doing the harsh stuff. If so, what? I tend to have a hard time doing harsh vocals for too long, for my voice tends to give up on me. Any input is appreciated.

Actually, this is where I'm sure i'm causing damage, because I don't warm up at all. My warm up is the first verse of the first song we do. As far as voice repair, I found the typical hot tea and honey, lemon juice, and rest works best. It's all about conditioning. If you're going to hit the road, and play many shows in a row, you need to up rehearsals a month or 2 before hand, and slowly increase so you get your vocice ready for that. Another mistake i've made in the past. haha

Actually, gargling with salt water works well if you're really singing. Vinegar works too, but that's as bad as tidy-bowl. Not like I'd know what gargling with that is like or anything.
Dan and Paul were telling me the other day how gargling with cum will cure what ails you as well. Don't know how proven that is though. :D

Hmmm, I think I'll try the tea thing. And by the way, Balance, cum really doesn't work. (I'm kidding, I don't know.)

I have the same problem with not warming up, which is probably why I can only last for so long. I also haven't been practicing much because my band has been kinda put to the side for the moment. so when I start getting back to vocals on a regular basis, it's gonna suck.

Normally, I run through a few scales then growl either "Barbie Girl" or "Bountyland" from Aqua. Mind you, most bands aren't as horrible/unfunny as mine so...

Oh Wolftribe... heads up for you, my band's going to do a surprise gig soon.
