Virgin was the funniest film I've seen at the cinema in a long time.

"Wanna know how I know you're gay?"

"How?"

"You've got a rainbow bumper sticker saying 'I Love It When Balls Are In My Face'."

"That's gay?"

Old School worked once for me, and I haven't watched it since. White Chicks was a cruel abomination, a stillborn idea that should have been flushed down the toilet before anyone was made to suffer through it.

i think you guys are confusing funny deliveries with funny lines ...

Chris Rock's skits if you read them off a sheet of paper are not funny at all

It's funny how some of you guys are so knowledgable about music, but when it comes to movies, your taste is on the same level with the average Jessica Simpson fan.

i have yet to see any of the hardcore underground guys mention a "real" movie

Factoid= Napoleon Dynamite was heavily funded by the Church of Latter Day Saints and was designed to curry independent favor while being a subtle statement on moral values. Note the complete lack of any real cursing, violence, sex, etc.

Real fact. The director and main actor in Napoleon Dynamite are members of the LDS church and both attended BYU. The lack of cussing, etc, is a result of the values of the people who made the movie. The budget was so low they actually borrowed items of the wardrobe from relatives (i.e. the moon boots). The church itself did not fund the movie, although some members of the church may have.

I only know these things because I have a friend who attended BYU with the main actor and knew the director as well.

So, yeah, I still hated the movie. I was one of the only ones around here who did, though.
