VTB1 Tube Vocal Preamp

Hey i was wondering if anyone might know the anwser to this question. Can the VTB1 vocal preamp be used for DI guitars? I know alot of people use them with vocals and often with bass, but i was wondering if anyone knew if this worked well with guitars. It has one 12AX7 tube in it i believe. I have a M-Audio Duo interface but im pretty sure the preamps in it suck.

The DI aren't bad for guitars, but there's nothing like a mic'ed cab. I have 2 of them for sale if your interested. Less than a year old. 90 + shipping and it's yours!

i might buy one off of you if this guy on craiglist falls through. Haha and im using the DI's to send to a studio to reamp. So they will be through a cab.

You can use it for guitar DIs. The thing has a "tube blend" pot, meaning you can use it as full solid state preamp or full tube preamp, or anywhere in between those two. I guess the recommendation for guitar DI is the solid state operation.
