preamp for tracking di guitar/bass

can someone recommend me a preamp for tracking di guitars and basses that
are capturing the signal quite neutral - so it can be reamped really nice!

i just ordered my radial's reamping kit and so the di will be the j48.

here are the preamps i have:

fmr-rnp
rane-ms1-b
m-audio-dmp3
studio projects-vtb1
symetrix-302
focusrite-penta platinum (pre/comp)

I would try the MS1b, DMP3, or 302 for clean & neutral, probably in that order. Remember, you have instrument DIs on a lot of these preamps already. You could save some dough and just get the X-Amp if any of them are up to the task. Test them all against the J48 when you get it! Monitor in real-time thru your interface & the X-Amp so you can hear how each DI affects the tone immediately.
