Some of you may recall our own lovely bassgirl, Wanda Ortiz was interviewed not so long ago in Bassgirl Magazine. ( it's on the press page for those of you who missed it.)
Well they are having their 1st Annual Readers' Poll so with all this election energy in the air, why not get out you cursors and vote!

Her main category is No. 3 ( favorite band with a female bassist) but take a look at No. 10, too...

Also Amy Humphrey who with her husband Joe on drums, are Clatter. Clatter on Myspace For the gear geeks Amy has an amazing setup utilizing only a single bass she has footswitches to run or alternate her 3 amps; a clean bass amp, an effected amp, and a Mesa guitar amp. Amazing array of sounds from just one stringed instrument. She sings at the same time too! I thought Geddy was busy.
