Due to circumstances Nevermore have been forced to cancel the upcoming Warped Tour dates. The band would like to apologize to the fans and stress that they look forward to seeing everybody on the next US tour.

On a brighter note, the band will be heading back to Europe
in September, as they have been confirmed for the WOMAD festival on September 12th 2002.

We regretfully have to cancel the Warped dates due to the fact that Century
Media will not give us the tour support to do the tour. Our A&R at CM was
VERY helpul, but eventually higher ups decided to play power games that we
feel are not appropriate treatment for a band that they expect to resign to
their label. All this after they got us on this tour and already have done a
lot of promotion for it. We would have to pay for this tour from our own
pockets at this point and unfortunately this will not work because of our
financial situation. For any Nevermore fans that had planned to attend please
know that the band did all we could do to avoid this cancellation.

it would have been cool to see nevermore shred some punks

The punks would start bitching because Nevermore's songs are "too long" and not catchy enough and not about high school...and because Nevermore actually posses talent to write good music.

ouch. you mean the pop-punks. real punks probably wouldnt go to warped anyways.

GG ALLIN IS PUNK

yeah, i suppose, but they smoke the pop-punk-SHIT out today (i.e. blink 182), ANYDAY! those bands don't even "shock" or make parents flinch... and all the *lil' girls* just adore them :puke:!

Most of the "real punks"I know don't even like the Sex Pistols. I myself love most punk along with my metal....so I would have loved to see nevermore again...and with them at the warped tour..it would have been interesting.

Real punk ,,,Gang Green old Black Flag, Exploided, GBH even the first Suicidal Tendencies (just one Pepsi!).
That POP punk shit sounds no differend than the Bay City Rollers to me
Just my worthless thoughts again

Cheers
