April 26th - This week on THE CLASSIC METAL SHOW, it's hair metal heaven, as our guests will be members of famous hair metal bands! First up, Jani Lane of Warrant, Bobby Blotzer and Robbie Crane of Ratt, and Kerri Kelli of Alice Cooper's band have a collaborative side project called Saints Of The Underground. The new album, LOVE THE SIN, HATE THE SINNER, showcases the individual talents of these four members, and is sure to be a hit with those that loved the 80s melodic metal scene. We'll debut LOVE THE SIN, HATE THE SINNER, and we'll talk to a couple members of the band. Jani Lane of Warrant will be buy to talk of the band as well as the Warrant reunion, and Ratt's Bobby Blotzer will come on as well to talk about Ratt.
Also on the show this week, Whitesnake's epic comeback album GOOD TO BE BAD takes center stage once again. We had guitarist Reb Beach on a few weeks ago to talk about it, and now guitarist Doug Aldrich has agreed to come on to talk about the writing and recording of the new album. Since most of the album is written by Alrich and David Coverdale, we figured that he would have great perspective as to what it's like to be in a band that is resurging like Whitesnake. We'll obviously play some tunes from this great new album as well as talking to Doug.
