Warrel in Seattle again on 3/19

You guys all need to just stay home and watch DVDs.

Seriously. What's the point of going to show to hide in the back on the comfy seats and watch through the monitor? Your home theater probably sounds better than that.

I can't tell if this is serious or not haha, I know a bunch of people who do just sit in the back but I'm always in the pit or raging and headbanging. I see bands like Suffocation and Exodus every time they come around just so I can go crazy and rage in the pit and get all the pent up aggression out, it's fun and gives you a mega endorphin high. Being at shows where the band is playing is way fun too, the only thing I don't like is local shows where you don't like the bands, the venue sucks ass or the show is just really long so it gets boring as shit.

If your post wasn't serious then that's just a random rant about how awesome raging at shows is haha.

im a little older now so i stand behind the pit where sweaty teenagers wont bump into my beer, but the whole point to me is to watch the band with my own eyes and hopefully hear their own amps, not just the soundboard monitor mix, or watch on a screen. i dont care much for live DVDs either, unless i have no chance of actually seeing the band.

Shows are all about raging and feeling the music and seeing it with your own eyes and feeling it with your entire body. Not experiencing it the same way you could from your couch.

thats the way I view it. I can watch Exodus or Kreator dvd's all day and they get me pumped, but nothing compares to being in a giant circle pit or wall of death while the lights are flashing and the band is on stage fucking shit up turned up to 11. Also respect for Neal haha, I hate douches who buy beers but then stand next to the pit and act pissed when they get hit, it's like um you're kinda right next to the pit of course you're going to get hit? Not only that but it spills beer on the pit floor and makes circle pitting like ice skating and even more dangerous than moshing normally is haha; I've slipped and fallen on my ass due to stray beer a few times.

equally as bad or worse are those that are behind the obvious pit area, but are attempting to engage in physical/pit type behavior around a bunch of people that want to sip their brew and nod their head GO IN THE REAL PIT THEN YOU FUCKIN PUSSY ASSHOLE

I hate shows.

If they'd invent some comfortable floating platform I'd happily go, but I had being jostled around by sweaty idiots.

thats when you just gotta throw them in there and tell them to gtfo haha!

Oooo... on my birthday.
Damn i can't be there, it would be a neat bd present.
Ok, i got a flight to London and a ticket to see Nevermore on my birthday a few years ago but still!
I wish i could be there.

Have a kickass time you all!

I have an El Corazon story (backing up a bit)!

Me and three friends were going to a show (cant remember which one), and a bunch of people were just ducking under the ropes set up for the line. No harm done as no one was cutting in line ducking under this specific rope. They were simply cutting time not having to do the two switchbacks before the end of the line. So we did the same thing and all four of us had to fucking wait until the very last person in line (30 minutes later) went in before they let us in. We called that mexican faggot "cool miguel". Later on he was actually harping on me because my shoe was untied and I didn't realize it. Hope that guy got shit canned

This is very true. Sometimes shows are like "oh hey, ill go see a band live and stuff." But last night's show was pretty much what you just said so yes, i fully fucking agree!

Well, here's my thing. I'm getting to be just old enough that when I go to a show to see 2 or 3 of the 5 or 6 bands that they now seem to cram into an evening, I sit my ass down during the other bands. My feet thank me, my back thanks me, my knees thank me, and any member of my family that doesn't have to listen to me whimper when I get home and crawl into bed thanks me. Yet, in some venues, Like S7, they have this room, see? *grin* And it's awesome, 'cause I can still see and hear. And if I get surprised by someone, I don't have to miss them 'cause I'm down the hall, around the corner and separated by a sea of piss from the show. :D

The pit is for people not old enough to drink.

Assuming that Nevermore will nevermore play the states again :saint:, I am working on arrangements for one of these dates so I can see Dagnas band whom Warrel sings for. :loco: j/k.

I agree with that. It's also a great way to let go of some energy. Though when I'm tired or have a cold I just go to the bar or the back of the club and just watch the show.
