nothing about sanctuary was embarrasing.

future tense is an amazing video for the time. i can think of MILLIONS of bands that have totally ripped off concepts from it. think of how many bands coordinate head bangs in videos these days. yeah.

i wish i could write a song thats a tenth as good as future tense.

Nevermore ripped off that video in I Voyager, when warrel walks to that well-thing. :heh:
Anyone who have seen the livevideos with santuary from RTL from 1988? They are really cool!:headbang:

I was just wondering, Did warrel get nodules or something? I don't think he can sing like that anymore, and his voice is more gravelly.

He went really high in refuge denied, too. It was entirely different for into the mirror black, too. I'm not talking bad about him, Warrel's my favorite singer. I was just wondering what happened.

artists voices can change with age. it's perfectly normal.

for instance. take aerosmith. listen to stevens voice in dream on, and listen to him on just push play. sounds like a different guy.

or scott weiland from stp. listen to the core album and then listen to his recent work with velvet revolver. doesn't even sound like him.

Warrel's voice didn't suddenly change as soon as the 80's ended. His vocals on early Nevermore demos and the self-titled debut sound quite similar to Into the Mirror Black. As the years progressed his voice just slowly changed into what it is today.
