Besides what has already been said, I'm just so sick of seeing heavy bands do videos where everyone has their equipment except the vocalist doesn't have a mic. I just feel like they would look so much less goofy if they were doing vocals into a microphone. Either way the band and video(s) are fucking lame.

Dude has good tone to his voice. But, his delivery sucks ass along with the lyrics. The music itself is pretty boring. Maybe if he was in a better band, had someone else write his lyrics, and had someone to help him with his phrases...

Yeah I'm not here to argue or anything. I like the guys here at ultimate-metal. Always helping out others. But I still quite like defiler too.
Those video references we're a bit off by the way. I mean like one was in a livingroom? and the other at a big stadium or something. Plus I really couldn't hear the kids voice. But nevertheless I rather like the band as a whole, not just the vocals. I can say that the show was'nt even as good as kindergarden plays but the album sounds good to me.

The venue really isn't relevant, I was just trying to illustrate the difference between a "brutal" vocalist, and someone that shouts........

And also that's partly the point, it was in a living room and you still couldn't hear his voice, even WITH a microphone....... (also the vid I posted was outside not that it matters)

Haha, i found these guy's myspace and it turns out they live in the same area I do and I've never heard of them. I hope I run into the singer at a show sometime cause I would laugh so hard.
