Even if he's a troll and wanted to makes us talk (which we did and seems totally fine to me), that doesn't put him in a better state, and I know he doesn't give a fuck about it, and that's normal I guess. Now we can make a better difference between brainless critics (knowing one of the worse, and not just because it's Opeth, just because, you know, just read it.) and a good one, and I guess it has enriched us all somehow. I don't care whether he gets banned (if it's him... or his best friend?) or not because no matter what he's gonna say, he's going to pass for a dumb bastard (sorry for the bad language) like he just did to us all. I do respect people not liking, for example (most appropriated), Opeth, because it's about tastes (as long as they are respectful), but in this case, he just bashed on them like if they were the worst, horrible and pretencious band over the world even if he has never really listened to them, get into what they've done. And it is totally useless to make critics if you don't even take the time to know what you are going to present to your readers and only use prejudices and stereotypes to describe something. Now go back to your studies and make something more worthy with your life (that's a kind of joke). Sincerly.

EDIT : The only thing I hate here is that I should just get the fuck away and ignore him (like he didn't do) but it seems like I wanted to share this with others. I know I should talk in a more kindly way if I wanted to convince him to be more respectful toward Opeth but that makes me a little angry, you know. I remember that part where he talks about Opeth's music sucking instrumentally and etc. and I just thought that Opeth was often about ambiance and feelings. Never found things like that in Pure Fuckin' Death Metul so I guess that's he hates them so much.

I have been reading the petty child rants and it just ratifies everything that was written in the phenomenal review as it pertains to Opeth and their fans.

Another funny bit is the retard that wrote about stereotyping. Seriously, everything is a stereotype; how the hell do you think companies sell you all anything? For example, are you gonna see a guy in a suit selling a construction suit, old men selling Budweiser beer, or a fat guy selling fast food? C'mon, observe the world around you and stop being so fuckin' closed minded to the obvious.

Some other clown went on a rant about how the writer is an elitist. Dummy, how can he or anyone else that runs a site with cost from their own pocket be elitist. He or she is writing reviews, using the ol' first amendment rights, for EVERYONE to help them choose CD's. Damn, I guess going by your uptight judgment anyone that writes reviews be them for music, movies, toasters, food, video games or any other marketable product is an elitist. But the fact is none of that elitist innuendo crap or the insults levied at the writer would have happened had he written a positive review for Opeth.

in addition, some moron wrote down Mike's list of hero's and then tossed up the little puke emoticon. idiots, it does not take a ton of brains to realize he is being facetious about scum like Bush, although I bet all of you clowns were for Bush and the eventual war starting at 9-12-2001 and this opinion held till it wasn't cool anymore sometime in 2006 or early 2007. Anyhow, it is obvious the writer is bullshitting and he's even got a fuckin' John Denver picture up. Anyhow, I don't expect you all to realize what facetious means cause your Opeth fans.

Why is he even reviewing watershed? read on - > EVERY album he reviewed is obviously completely different, they are all underground death/grindcore bands. why would he review watershed then all of sudden?

Geeee I don't know.. maybe writing a review with the express purpose of irritating extremely loyal and perhaps a bit over zealous fans on the most active and popular band forum on UM would gain some attention to his site... and provide some twisted amusement.
