I know what you mean. I thought there'd be a few more DT fans here than there actually are.

Have you checked out any of their side projects like Liquid Tension Experiment and OSI?

OSI was the biggest dissapointment of my life.... Portnoy and Moore reunited once again only to produce the most boring album ever released. LTE is awesome though (pretty much just sounds like instrumental DT )

Sherinian.......... what a talent..........but what a metro. He did a song a ways back called "axis of evil" where Yngwey (spelling?) and Zakk Wyld dueled. Pretty bad ass song.

Sherinian always gets labled by DT fans for the creative direction they took on Falling into infinity. Not his fault the label put pressure on them to go mainstreamish

I liked Falling into Infinity. Sherinian was hailed by the rest of the guys, I'm sure they saw something in him that they liked. Jordan is by far the most insane keyboard player I have ever seen, but, he takes it way too far sometimes. Infinity - Not their best work, no, but I still thought it was great. I love all DT so far. My least favorite being the new one, but, I love all of their shit so far. The 20 year anniversary show is suppose to be insane. I think they are only doing 1 show in the US?!?! What a weird way to celebrate. OH well, if I was DT, I would spend all my time in Japan too.
