Wav or Mp3 to midi?

Is that possible?
Yes, there are a few programs that can convert WAVs to MIDI...
BUT obviously they don't work properly if there are many instruments playing at the same time. Distortion guitar is probably impossible to do decently. All in all, I'd say you will get better result if you do the notation manually.

EDIT: Look at google and try for yourself http://www.google.fi/search?hl=fi&q=Wav+to+midi&meta=

Only WAV to MIDI converters exist; however, the WAV file you are converting must be like 8 bit mono or something...It can't be 16 or 32 bit stereo (Which is what an MP3 or a high quality WAV is). So if you are thinking that you can convert a CD quality audio file such as an 192kbps MP3 or a 1441kbps WAV to a MIDI, you're on your own there.

Yes. But i maybe know how i can get every songs tab i want. if i first delete all the other instruments on the mp3. i just leave one track there (exam guitar) then i change it to wav and then to midi. because those converters cant convert those songs correctly if there is many instruments i have to make it like that. if thats possible. how i can delete other tracks in mp3? what program?

You can't.
Hate to say it, but he's right...I've already tried the same thing. There MIGHT be some professional level audio editing software that can do that, but it's going to cost thousands...And I can't even garuntee something like that even exists...So you're probably just stuck with transcription...Good luck ;)

It's possible by taking the frequencies out with certain instruments are playing, of course you need to be a pro...

...Along with having an enourmous amount of time and patience. But other than that, there is no possible way it can be done. After editing all the track, the mixdown happens and everything is put into one track, and the different instruments cannot be seperated.

Trust me PRauhala...You aren't the first musician to have that idea...I thought it would work too, but I tried, and I failed...If you have hours upon hours to spend just trying to FIND such software, and then spending a really REALLY long time learning how to use it, then another few hours resampling a WAV file at a different bit rate, seperating instruments (Which is technically impossible unless you're a producer), and then converting to MIDI, importing into Guitar Pro or whatever tab software you have, and doing whatever you have to do to it...Then be my guest...I think everyone else here would prefer to stick with ear transcription, however time consuming and difficult it is, it seems almost easier than taking so much time for something that might not even be possible at all.
