Waveburner

Anyone of you other mac people tried Waveburner? Is it any good?
I just found it, don't really know how i've missed it before...

used to use Waveburner Pro back on OS9... it was great. Andy used it too. unfortunately it took forever to port it to OSX and when they finally did it was as a very buggy addendum to the latest version of Logic. neither one of us use it anymore.

So the one i have that came with Logic Pro 7 would be the buggy one?
I haven't tried it out yet, haven't had the time...
But as long as they fix the bugs it would be a good program then?

Why i didn't notice that i had this earlier is beyond me...

if they fix the bugs it's a great application... as it is currently, it's unusable.

I actually bought Logic 7 because of waveburner, I sold it last week because it was so buggy. I'm running waveburner 2.1.1 on my blue and white G3, I love it.

Hmm, so now i have to pay 20 bucks to get a working program?
Ah well... guess i'll have to just get that... eventually.

The new features in Logic 7.1 seem handy so...

Really? Where would i find that?
I've checked Software Update and apple.com, the only thing i find is in the applestore, 20usd for the logic 7.1 update which includes the updated Waveburner.

The one i found is a CD though, not a download... at least i think it is.

Ok, i checked the local apple dealer and they didn't have it, they're a shit store, they just got in their first copy of logic pro 7

Anyways i ordered it directly from apple but it'll take almost 2 weeks to get here apparently.

most likely you will get a Logic 7 box and cd... and when you call to complain you will be directed to download the update.

Logic eh?.. shoulda got DP.. way more like Pro Tools.. much simpler to use but just as powerful, if not more... much less convoluted than Logic.

I have DP, got it with my MOTU mkII, i haven't used it much, i know it's a great program, one of the supervisors at my old school swears by it, but i'm used to working with Logic now (finally!) and seeing as i paid big bucks for version 6 and then the update to logic pro 7 i don't really feel like switching.

I bought the logic 7.1 update when it first came out for £13. you get a CD in a huge cardboard box. Although I havent used it to its full potential yet it does seem to fix many of the bugs.

you got it "with" your "mkII" (828 i presume).. as in it came free with it? because if that's the case, that isn't DP.. it's Audio Deck... not the same at all.. not by a long shot.

I seem to remember getting a whole DP bible with it as well... how odd.
