We lose a family member too...

Some of you saw this picture recently, but Buddy our little squirrel passed away this morning. It appears he went quickly and peacefully. We had him about 6-8 months. Squeaker the other squirrel has been with us for 5 years, and is pretty shaken. Everybody loved Buddy!

No, he was ok one minute and gone the next. Still had that look like when he'd snuggle up to you. Maybe something congential decided to give out. I suppose I could have had a necropsy done, but I'm content to let him rest in peace. He now lives out by the big tree in the yard were I'll see him everyday.
