We need more Borknagar tabs

All i can find for bass is- Colossus , The genuine pulse , four element synchronicity and for guitar- the veiw of everlast. we need some bass or guitar tabs off the archaic course or the olden domain .......does anyone have tabs from those cds? if you did i ( and prob everyone on this forum) would be extremely grateful....

Why don't you guys try to tab some songs yourselves? It's a very good way to learn music and playing, and develop as a musician. You can show me your versions and if needed, I'll give you tips and corrections along the way.
When I joined the band in 2000, I didn't know any of the basslines, there where no tabs around, so I had to learn them the hard way, by ear.
Tabbing songs takes lot of time, even when you know the songs, and I like to use my time on other stuff than tabbing out songs per request for other people, I know Asgeir, Øystein , Lars and Andreas feel the same way about it.
Besides, Asgeir is a Mac-nerd , so the tabs would only have been in ASCII-format, and not PowerTab, hehe

I guess what actually did tip the scale for me to choose to leave the band was that I bought a house that needed extensive work, in order to have a place to live. Very time-consuming indeed. Bad timing? Perhaps. But I wasn't particularily motivated to put in a lot of effort for the band since the band didn't want to or was unable to do real tours, which in my opinion is a major part of being a musician, especially in Metal.

But, with that being said, I must add that being a Norwegian metal band, does not make things a helluva lot easier for you concerning tours, especially when you have financial responsibillities. You just don't make enough money touring to sustain the economic stability you need at home when you're at the present level of Borknagar.

My band and me usually play "Colossus" on live-dates, as a cover song.
As I found that the common "Colossus" tab has a lot of errors, we did the tabs by ourselves.
Due to the kind of instruments we have, we re-arranged the song for 7-string guitar and 5-string bass.

Nah, we really need some Borknagar transcriptions. I stopped using tablature once I learned to actually read sheet music for guitar, bass and piano (some other instruments, too).

I'd transcribe the stuff myself, had I the time and access to the master tapes (or the individual instrument tracks recorded onto CD).
