It could be a fake, but I don't see how. If they're claiming it's fake, it's because the teachers and school district are under fire and trying to cover their asses.

My sister said TMZ had a story on it saying that it's a staged viral video. As could be expected all media outlets are painting it in a bad light. "How could anyone let their child take part in that?"
