Website on cab micing, by producer who didn't reveal who he was...??

He jokes about keeping mids in his kicks, but in the end he takes them out like everyone else.

Suecof writing a blog like that would be hilarious.

"Here is how to mic a kick.....do you want to be in my new band called Jackapotomus?"

It would probably go something like that.

Question for Andy, how did the tracks come out they sent you for mix/master on 36 Crazyfists "rest inside the flames" val (big blue) tracked the album at big blue, is that correct? Did you visit the studio and meet tim? funny guy from what ive heard on the old web, cheers

it wasn't great because they'd taken a different approach than I'd of liked, ie tape. They also used older gear when the bands gear (bass in particular) sounds great. There was also a couple of vocal bits I got brock to redo because it seems an emo tuning radar is calibrated different to a metal one lol.

I'm not saying anyone was doing anything wrong, it was just too different an approach for me and those guys obviously work in a different manner. Nice guys tho and yes I visited them briefly.

Thats what i guessed, well you did an awesome job, its one of my personal favourite hardcore albums, you definately reflected there live power and command of there trade, seriously well done tho, you are really on top of your game lately even if you do look like a dog! hah cheers Andy.
