Alright so let's see our official members of the Clan are:

Me
TB666
Darkness Eternal

Hey, Evan84, do you want to join our clan?
Sure. I'm not sure how often I'll be able to play, but I'm sure it'll be fun. btw, I have played Medieval: Total War before.

Would you consider yourself any good?

And have you played multi-player Medieval: Total War? If so, what is your estimated record?

Oh yeah and who would win in a battle on flat plains (asuming their valour, weapon, and armor were all at 0): Feudal Men-at-arms or Feudal Seargents and explain why?

Nice :headbang:

And to those people that don't know if their computer can handle the game then I can tell you that the developers are aiming for system specs that is like C&C generals.
So if you can play C&C generals then you will be able to play this game.

And banners are on the way.
I won't be able to finish the banner today because I have to got to work :( but I'm aiming for finishing the banner this weekend.

I love TW, can I join?
Hmm do you think this game will be more taxing on a computer then UT2004?
Sure you can join, write down what name you want to use in the banner thread and I don't think it will be more taxing.
As I said a couple of posts ago, if you can play C&C generals then you will be able to play Rome.

No, I don't think so. The shadowing has less calculations then UT2004 and all the newer games like that. The shadowing can really slow down your computer if you have extra shadowing put in like that in Doom 3 and Half-Life 2. Rome: Total War has a different type of shadowing, and although it is not as pretty looking as HL2 or Doom3, it doesn't sacrifice much performance. So, long as your machine is fairly up to date (let's say you bought a decent computer in the last three years), you'll be able to run the game on default settings no problem.

But if you an UT2004 fine on your machine, you are baically all set.

How many of each are there?

Yes it is gonna be like shogun only alot better engine, AI and alot bigger.
So far the release will be in september.

Oh yeah, and the campaign map is no longer Risk-style as in, you cannot move anywhere you want in one province. But to make up for that, there's going to be a continous 3-D map covering the whole of northern Africa, Western Middle East, Europe, and eastern Asia. There's going to be about 10,000 different maps you can fight on, compared to STW's 300 or less maps.

Yep, but I kind of like Time Commanders better. The BBC2 used the RTW engine for one of their shows too. It was a game show that put amateur strategists together in facing some of the greatest battles of the ancient world. There's going to be a second season of that show coming on soon over in Britain.

Decisive Battles does have Spiers though! I can't wait until they show the Battle of Teutoberger Wald on there!
