Well f*** me... blown speaker

For the past few days I've been tracking down an issue that gave me uncomfortably bright guitar tone. At first I thought it was just the DIs I was working with, but then I made an IR, and that had the same characteristic brightness. For days I've tried re-reamping, the same way, different ways, different gear, different settings, etc... nothing worked. Finally it was down to a bad tube or a bad speaker, I put the mic on a different speaker, instant normality again. I couldn't have been happier just then. That's pretty fucked up though? My speaker still had its normal volume, it just became very bright and bodyless? Strange. Anyway, check it out.
