Well dudes, after a year of not being entirely happy with my recorded tones from my Bogner 2x12 cab, today I brought it down to East Coast Music Mall in Danbury CT, who are a Mesa dealer, to try it against a 4x12 (Rectifier AKA Oversized Slants were all they had), and decided it's time to upgrade. The bass on the Bogner is incredibly powerful but tight, so it lives up to its reputation in that respect, but it's just a bit fizzier than the Mesa when A/B'ing (they both have V30s), and that bit of a difference is quite magnified with a 57 inches away from either of the Bogner's cones.

So after that description, I highly doubt any of you would wanna buy it to record with (I wouldn't recommend it), but if you're looking for a great 2x12 for live playing, I can't recommend it any higher for its portability (70 lbs. vs. 100+ for any decent 4x12) and the aforementioned really tight but full bass. Plus, the small fizz difference might even help in a live environment, and like I said, it's somewhat noticable when A/B'ing, but only a problem when recording. And, of course, the price is right! And no, the dog is not included. :D

EDIT: SOLD!
