Bogner or Mesa when going 2x12 cab

I currently have an bogner 2x12 OS cab, but im thinking of selling it to get a mesa cab. You think the mesa is better? only going to use it for recording

i know the mesa 4x12 would be alot better but i cant afford a 4x12 atm

doing a switch from bogner to mesa will earn me some extra money also

I have a Bogner Uberschall and a Mesa Boogie 'rectifier' 2x12 cabinet.

I do my reamping at medium/low volume and I have no room treatment
and my preamps and converters are cheap so quality is not great

No experience with the 2x12s, but I used to have the Bogner 4x12 and now have the Mesa oversized 4x12 and much prefer it. I'd think the case would be similar with the 2x12s. I'd switch to the Mesa and get some extra money back.
