well, my worst fears have finally materialized

I'm reminded of the simpsons episode where Mr. Burns is being held in suspended animation until the cure for 17 stab wounds can be found.

SCIENTISTS have created eerie zombie dogs, reanimating the canines after several hours of clinical death in attempts to develop suspended animation for humans.

I wonder what it would be like to have your blood replaced after 3 hours of frozen sleep? How would they revive your body and then what, pump out the old blood and put in this new blood? while your body is defrosting? or do they mean they would wait until your body is warm, then do the replacement thingy?

I'm confused.

Anyway, why is this important again?
