So what do you think of the Ramones cover on the new album then?

Personally I love it, especially with the "Labotamy" at the end.

I don't have it, but what version did you get? What kind of packaging? Plastic case or digipack? Did it have "Safe Home" acoustic on it?

It is on the digi pack version which also has the Safe Home acoutic version on it. The Digi Pack also comes in a plastic sleeve, with the Band and Album name on it, and a sticker with the tour dates on.
The digi pack folds open from all edge's and each side has a small section missing, so when the sides are all closed it leaves a hole which the Anthrax A is exposed from the book inside.

I think the Ramones cover eats balls, to be honest. I don't see why everyone covers them. They're not funny, they couldn't play and the songs are boring. What's the point? What am I missing?

I've got a 33 track Ramones compilation CD that I never listen to. Actually, their cover of Lets Dance is fucking funny.

Anyway, I would have preferred a crazy impromptu riff-jam or something as a bonus...

I tend to like Ramone covers more than I like the Ramones themselves, so I'm looking forward to hearing Anthrax's take. Except when the Ramones do covers. Their version of the Spiderman theme was great!

"The KKK Took My Baby" away is one of the greatest songs ever, IMHO. I'd have rather seen Anthrax do that. I'm sure "We're a Happy Family" is good, but I think the KKK song would have been even better.

I'd have picked "Outsider," from Subterranean Jungle. In fact I e-mailed Charlie about that very song once upon a time. I also suggested an Anthrax cover of Queen's "Sheer Heart Attack," from News of the World, at least we got half of Anthrax covering a song from that album.
