Don't expect Anthrax on the Ramones tribute record, as Metallica are doing the...

...same song they recently recorded, which is "We're A Happy Family." I know, I know, when Anthrax recorded it they were probably just fucking around like they always do. But then when I saw that a Ramones tribute was being made, I thought that this would be a perfect fit!! Well, now Metallica have added that same song to the record. Fuck Metallica.

that sucks, anthrax's version is probably 100 times better than metallica's.
i just bought rock n' toll high school on dvd about a month ago.i love the ramones and that movie.

yes td the dvd has extras, they are roger corman interveiw.audio commentary.audio outtakes from the concert footage.trailers.cast and crew biographies and more.

Actually, I read somewhere on the net yesterday that Metallica has been letting Bob Rock play bass for them at the moment. I even heard that he is playing the bass parts for the new Metallica album. Ohhhhhh God! Metallicas new bass player is the former Motley Crue producer.

Cheerz!

I was lead to believe that James is playing the bass tracks and Jason will be playing bass on the tour. However, Mustaine said that James talked to him about Ellefson after the Megadeth breakup announcement. Ellefson is now going to work with Sebastian Bach?

Hey Yall,

I found the quote I was talking about, but it did come from Metal Sludge, so no telling for sure if this is a joke or for real! Anyhow, here is the quote.

"In other news, Ulrich has revealed that no discussions have yet taken place about a potential replacement for Jason Newsted, who left METALLICA in January 2001 in order to pursue other projects. "[Producer] Bob Rock [is playing] bass in the studio and we have not even thought about who's gonna join the band when the record is done," Lars said, adding that, "as of May 17th, Bob has played every single bass note on the [forthcoming] record. We are keeping our minds open, but right now it feels so fucking right."
