Well I have the original parts 1 and 2 from Japan with English subtitles and is longer than the American (Anime 18) version. Curiously is also bloodier and without censorship.

I rented the four DVDs (Anime 18) and curiously, the versions are shorter, the sex is heavily (ans stupidly) censored in parts II and IV and the saga lost is tract totally, no to mention that the drawings changed dramatically. I stay with chapter I: Legend Of The Overfiend and maybe part II: Demon Womb, the rest is crappy and boring.
