Annoying? This is the sound I had hoped for when I bought my first Therion cd, after reading reviews about "opera metal." I wouldn't object to the growling taking a bit more of the spotlight, but it's nice to here a female voice in front of a band that isn't drowning in their own melancholy.

I don't like operatic vocals in metal BUT this chick can sing. Very few of the wannabe opera singers actually hit the notes, and this one does. I would listen to this...

... except for the death vocals. They sound wimpy, like the singer is uncomfortable.

But I like it overall. I don't understand Wolff and pac's complaints, unless they just don't like female vocs period.

Its not that I don't like female vocals,actually I like female vocals quite bit.Especially on a lot of these death/black metal bands that have been emerging as of late.I think the use of female singers for metal music is a nice addition to metal music,and compliments it rather well.

But I just was not to fond of the clean vocalist of the band from which I heard the samples from.Something about the tone and style, even sounding exaggerated at times,I just didn't find the voice of this singer very appealing,I do admit that she has talent there is no denying that,I just personally did not like them to much.

In saying this I'm exposing my sorry ass to a lot of potential flaming, but the female vocals of Sinergy are the most annoying ones I have ever heard (and probably ever will). Yuchh.. *shivers*

I like'em, but I think they need more "space" (i.e. reverb) on the female vox, as they sound a little flat in the mix.

Moste female vox are uninteresting, and she fits that billing.

Yeah they sing in Mandarin.
There a few metal bands from Taiwan that sing in Mandarin, and Taiwanese as well. §A¥i¥H¬Ý¤¤¤å¶Ü?

As far as I know they're not Christian. I think it's just a reference to a passage about the Seraphim.
