Troops I'm in Sydney. I'm envious of the Black Majesty show. Their Sydney gig at Vic on the Park was amazing. I dont think Id be alone to say one of the best gigs I've seen from an Oz metal band in the melodic metal style. A real suprize in lots of ways. Excellent album and they deliver live. Have a good time. Singer is awesome!

If I hadnt packed all MY DAMN CDS, this is what id be listening to:

Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia - Dimmu Borgir
Death Cult Armageddon - Dimmu Borgir
Soul Destruction - The Almighty
Painkiller - Judas Priest
Cast In Stone - Venom

Lizzy Borden - Master Of Disguise
:headbang:

I love that album! Way more theatrical than his other albums, I think he wanted to be Alice Cooper on that one, but its great! "Never Too Young" & "Waiting In The Wings" are probably my 2 favourite Lizzy Borden songs ever, love the melodies!

Yeah everyone who went to the Sydney BM show seemed to love it! I hope their mix is better tonight than it was at their Central Club gig, that was pretty woeful. Couldn't hear a thing.

I did hear the Melbourne BM gig wasn't a patch on Sydney and there were sound problems.

now playing: Bulletboys - Greatest Hits Burning Cats and Amputees: People issues. (re recordings not as good as the originals but interesting to hear)

I interviewed Mick Sweda about the Bulletboys debut album (plus otehr stuff I wanted to ask lol) a couple of years ago for a uni assignment where I had to interview an artist about one of their artworks. But he sent it back to me too late so I didn't get to use it, I ended up using my interview with Jim Gillette on Nitro's O.F.R album instead. Was definitely the most different assignment my tute teacher got I think haha, everyone else did local sculptors & painters and stuff and I did an '80s rock star lol. I even put a picture of him with his MASSIVE hair on the cover sheet LOL.

Deathstars 'Synthetic Generation'
Skid Row 'Skid Row'
Entwine 'Gone'
Charon 'The Dying Daylights'
Anthrax 'We've Come For You All'
Mar De Grises 'The Tatterdemalion Express'
Farmer Boys 'The Other Side' (single)
Project Failing Flesh 'A Beautiful Sickness'

plus various mp3s including Go West, Tears For Fears, Belinda Carlisle, Suzanne Vega, Ikon, Boston, Prince, Puff Daddy/Faith Evans, Roxette, Spin Doctors, Tone Loc etc.
