What amp(s) did early CoB use?

Alder or poplar Jackson with single hum J-50BC & JE-1000 > Lee Jackson GP-1000 > Lee Jackson SP-1000 or Rocktron Velocity 300 > Marshall 1960b. It's been said that they used a 5150 on Something Wild, although it was probably their weakest album (tone, production, and songwriting), IMO.

Yes, it does. ;) I "stole" one from GC for $100 years ago. They said it didn't work right. I took it home and one of the tubes had bent pin. :D :D I love that thing.

I strongly disagree... That album is flawless in every aspect IMO. The sound is very aggressive, I dig it a lot... And very recognizable and that's a very rare trait nowadays with all the triggering and reamping craze.

And I don't understand how anyone can find this album weaker songwriting wise to any album after Follow The Reaper?! 4th album onward they released total crap after total crap... IMHO of course. :)

I like hatecrew deathroll, although i admit it is something different from their earlier stuff entirely

oh also alexi himself said that he didnt like hteir first album when he was trying to be a virtuoso like yjm, I like the songs though, but production and tone arent good jmo.
