A friend of mine told me I should check them out if I liked Saxon and Motorhead... he was right. They're slammin'.

Blind Guardian - "Tokyo Tales"

Life Sex and Death - "The Silent Majority" (find it if you can!!!)

The Power Metal stuff is everything I like about Saxon & NWOBHM, you can just count on it being pretty fast. Other than that, it's just as melodic & rockin' as traditional metal (to my ears).

I kinda like the Soil stuff, too, when he's not doing the "underbite vocal" thing.

Awesome album. If you like Purple, Rainbow, Sabbath check it out.
The singer JB sounds like a cross between Ian Gillan and Rick Medlocke of Blackfoot.

LOST HORIZON - Awakening The World! It's absolutely brilliant and hilarious at the same time. If you ever get into the Helloween type stuff, these guys are straight forward and slammin'. Plus, they look awesome (in a brilliant and hilarious at the same time kinda way)

P.S. I love Zakk Wylde. His live album tears it up.
