Chris Cornell - Songbook

Man, incredible voice, acoustic guitar. It's exactly what you would expect it to be. So if Chris Cornell solo acoustic sounds appealing, you'll like it. If not, you won't.

Been listening to this band nonstop for the last week or so.. Very similar vein to Anathema/Porcupine Tree/Oceansize

check out the song "the day i tried to live"

If you don't like that then they just aren't your cup of tea..

Between the buried and me did a sweet cover of that song that is worth checking out too.

My brother just turned me on to this album.. A solid progressive rock album with touches of death and power metal.

Mr. Adams! Welcome to our forum. Also, Amorphis rules.

Thanks! I thought I posted in here before this, but I guess there's a first time for everything.

These past few days i've been really getting back into Fear Factory. They're coming to my area pretty soon so i'm pretty pumped for that too.

I used to be pretty into Fear Factory, but not so much anymore. Actually the last time I listened to Demanufacture, I couldn't even get through it all. A lot of the vocal parts sound absolutely awful, plus it gets a bit monotonus after a few songs.

Still listening to Paysage D'hiver pretty hard. Something about their self titled release really appeals to me, mostly the atmopsphere. If you can get past the really really really "true" production, I'd check it out.

I'm absolutely in love with this album. RPWL - Beyond Man and Time... Kind of sounds like a modern Pink Floyd.
