what do you do with room samples

some drum samples comes with room samples for example two files : snare and snare room.
do you blend it with the original drum, or use it alone?

btw I use EZDrummer with ApTrigga 2, and I can make a track for each part, there's a track for room, do use reverb in this track or ApTrigga 2?

I use Trigger. I'll usually create an AUX, throw trigger as an insert, pick desired room sample(s) and then send SNR track to it.

Amazing the depth it can add. Just have to be careful not to over do it and find an appropriate room sample that doesn't sound horribly juxtaposed.
