what do you think about Digidesign DIGI 003 Rack Factory?

Any reason why you have chosen that instead of the M-Audio Profire 2626? They both run the same version of Pro Tools but the M-Audio unit is half the price with double the features

Yeah, you're much better off with an 2626. I've used them both and own a 2626.

hands down the 2626 it`s a better choice,and you save some money, nothing extra on the 003`s preamps

Quite the opposite. The 003 preamps are absolutely crap. I've had to track three EP's with no other preamps than a first gen Octopre and the preamps on a 003 Factory.

It is, I had a 002 for some years, sold it and got a 2626.
The pres are really an upgrade, also you have more ins and outs and you can go to 192khz if wanted, also in less space.

I use mine with windows XP and never had a BSOD or any problem, highly recommend the 2626.

Interesting. I run my 002 with a Motu 8 Pre just now so inputs isn't a problem, but having 16ins would be pretty badass! haha

You can't get DV or Complete production toolkits for M-Powered IIRC. Nothing else.

Multitrack BD comes with Music Production Toolkit, not just the DV or Complete.
