Yeah, it's a beginners instrument. Don't expect it to last long without any problems. You will also hate the bolt-on neck joint. Frets past 22 are barely playable. Pickups are not very good either. Body is made from Indian cedro, not alder. That's a mistake on Thomann's site.

I've played one yeah its string thru and doesn't have a locking system.

the pickups are pretty awesome IMO
