What do you use for Wav -> Mp3 conversion?

I can't encourage using iTunes. Even at 192kpbs (max) it still sounds really bad to me. If you convert more than once, god help you, it sounds awful. But I do use it for posting mixes here, just not for final things. If you're wondering how, preferences -> import (god knows why), change AAC to MP3, then right-click on the file and go Convert to MP3.

I use Lame straight out of Sonar.

You can do 320kbps with iTunes. When in the Import dialog box select "Custom" instead of "Higher Quality (192kbps)". Once you're in the custom settings you can change it to 320kbps.

I use iTunes for my MP3 conversion. It's easy to use and fast IMO.

Didn't know that, thanks.

But still, for the same bitrate iTunes sounds much worse to me than Lame.

After doing a small research on programs for converting wav to mp3, I decided for AudioConverter Studio. This program let me manipulate my audio files quickly and with a minimum effort.
