I was thinking about the great full-album performances at ProgPower this year, and the 3 (maybe 4?) that are on tap for 2015, and I started thinking about other what full albums I've seen performed live. Here's what I could come up with off the top of my head, but I may be missing a few. As you can see, about half of these were at ProgPower...

Amon Amarth - Surtur Rising
Anthrax - Among The Living
Arsis - A Celebration Of Guilt
Ashes Of Ares - Ashes Of Ares
Dio - Magica
Dream Theater - Scenes From A Memory
Evergrey - In Search Of Truth
Iron Maiden - A Matter Of Life And Death
Need - Orvam: A Song For Home
Pagan's Mind - Celestial Entrance
Pain Of Salvation - Remedy Lane
Queensrÿche - Rage For Order
Queensrÿche - Operation: Mindcrime (4 times)
Queensrÿche - Operation: Mindcrime II
Savage Circus - Dreamland Manor
Savatage - Hall Of The Mountain King
Savatage - Streets: A Rock Opera
Savatage - The Wake Of Magellan
Seventh Wonder - Mercy Falls
Stratovarius - Visions
The Winery Dogs - The Winery Dogs

These are some others that I recall hearing or reading about, but never saw:

Dio - Holy Diver - This was only done in Europe
Judas Priest - British Steel - This tour didn't come anywhere near me, and I probably didn't even know about it at the time.
Megadeth - Rust In Peace - I saw the second leg of this tour in 2012... they only played the full album on the first leg
Metallica - Master Of Puppets - They played the full album in 2006 for the 20th anniversary, but only at a few festivals in Europe
Metallica - Metallica - They did a Europe-only tour playing this entire album in 2012

Not including ProgPower shows, just Op:mc (twice) and Op:mc II. I'd fallen out of love with QR by the time II came out, but the original Op:mc shows were almost a holy experience.

ETA: DT - SFAM.

Outside of the ones performed at PPUSA, I remembers these:

Jolly - The Audio Guide to Happiness pt 1
Opeth - Blackwater Park

I'm sure there are more that I can't think of...

Outside of ProgPower USA
Queesnryche- Operation: Mindcrime
Judas Priest- British Steel
Nazareth- Hair of the Dog

Ashbury -Endless Skies
Extreme - Pornograffitti
Queensryche - Operation: Mindcrime (in 1991)

I honestly can't think of any others. In the time since it became a popular thing to do I haven't been able to see as many shows as I'd like to.

Testament-The Legacy
Anthrax-Among The Living
Slayer-Reign In Blood
Megadeth-Rust In Peace

This is a good question. Let's see:

Ashes of Ares--"Ashes of Ares"
Circle II Circle--"The Wake of Magellan"
Deep Purple--"Machine Head"
Dio--"Magica"
Dream Theater--"Scenes from a Memory," "Master of Puppets"
Fates Warning--"A Pleasant Shade of Gray"
Peter Gabriel--"So"
Iron Maiden--"A Matter of Life and Death"
Tony MacAlpine--"Maximum Security" (Minus Etude #4, Opus #10; it was still billed as the entire album)
Marillion--"Marbles"
Jon Oliva's Pain--"Streets"
Pagan's Mind--"Celestial Entrance"
Pain of Salvation--"Remedy Lane"
Savage Circus--"Dreamland Manor"
Seventh Wonder--"Mercy Falls"
Stratovarius--"Visions"
Trans-Siberian Orchestra--"Christmas Eve and Other Stories" and "Beethoven's Last Night"
Transatlantic--The Whirlwind
The Winery Dogs--"The Winery Dogs"
Zappa Plays Zappa--"Apostrophe" and "Roxy & Elsewhere"

This is just what's off the top of my head. If I think of any other performances, I'll be sure to edit this post.

Stay metal. Never rust.

I have seen SO many over the years.

But by far my most memorable was Jethro Tull's 'A Passion Play' tour. A couple of friends and I took almost the entire month of May 1973 and followed Tull from city to city, We saw them in...

Knoxville, Tn

Louisville, Ky

Memphis, Tn

Hampton, Va

Richmond, Va

Greensboro, NC

Atlanta, Ga

Nashville, Tn

Indianapolis, In

St Louis, Mo

Still have all the ticket stubs and show 'librettos' that were distributed at the doors. Amazing shows, every single one. On several nights, we were treated to 'A Passion Play' followed by 'Thick As A Brick' in it's entirety. Some insanely good performances. It got to where after the fourth or fifth show, that Ian Anderson recognized us and would banter with us from the stage. A truly funny guy...

This is just what's off the top of my head. If I think of any other performances, I'll be sure to edit this post.

Heh... I have to edit my post based on your list... you mentioned 3 albums I've seen live that I completely forgot about! :)

Besides ProgPower:
Judas Priest - British Steel
Energy (Bridge 9 records) - Invasions of the Mind
Morbid Angel - Covenant
Protean Collective (local) - The Red and the Grey
Krieg - Black House
Wargasm - Why Play Around

Only one, Fates Warning's A Pleasant Shade of Grey. Fitting as it's a top ten all-time album for me. I was off to the side of the stage and elevated, great vantage point and didn't have the amps blowing my head off. I'm pretty sure they had the drummer from No Exit as their crew chief, can't remember his name.

Not too many come to mind, tho I probably have seen more than I think.

Rush- Moving Pictures
Echolyn - Mei
Fates Warning - A Pleasant Shade Of Grey

Dream Theater - SFAM
Dream Theater - Images and Words (on the I&W tour - not played in order, but the entire album was played)
Rush - Moving Pictures (twice)
Megadeth - Countdown to Extinction
Iron Maiden - A Matter of Life and Death
Anthrax - Among the Living (one of Scott's missed shows)
Queensryche - O:M (twice)

Iron Maiden - A Matter of Life and Death
Rush - Moving Pictures
Slayer - Reign in Blood
King Diamond - Them
Novembers Doom - Aphotic
Manowar - Kings of Metal
Judas Priest - British Steel

Green Carnation - Light of Day, Day of Darkness

And probably some others, but that's the only one that matters, because the extremely-limited number of times it was ever done in its entirety gives me the best bragging rights! (oh yeah, that, and it was one of the most awesome 60-minute experiences of my life.)

Outside of the ones at ProgPower:

Ghost - Opus Eponymous
Megadeth - Rust in Peace
Megadeth - Countdown to Extinction
Morbid Angel - Covenant
Nocturnus - The Key
Amon Amarth - Surtur Rising

DT has done a number of one off live cover shows: Master of Puppets, The Number of the Beast, The Dark Side of the Moon and Made in Japan.

They were released on ytsejam records. But not sure of that status, after portnoy's departure.

Jon Oliva's Pain - Streets
Pagan's Mind - Celestial Entrance
Pain of Salvation - Remedy Lane
Seventh Wonder - Mercy Falls
Stratovarius - Visions
Need - Orvam
Amon Amarth - Surtur Rising
Slayer - Reign In Blood
Slayer - Seasons In The Abyss
Megadeth - Rust in Peace
Megadeth - Countdown to Extinction
Judas Priest - British Steel
Queensryche - Operation Mindcrime I & II
Evergrey - In Search Of Truth
