I very much doubt it will stop that. There's a chance it may stop some people, especially if members can't sort the member-list in order of postcount (like here) just to make it harder to compare themselves.

That's one thread I decided to leave closed. The point was to see who would get the last word in, and Steve did.

Also, the Rep thread will remain closed to. That was rather pointless. Most of the other threads have been reopened and merged with the new threads that were created to replace them.

I did that because a forum filled with a bunch of repetitive threads is silly, and it's not a race to see how many new threads can be posted in a day like Off Topic is.
