What is "Kalmah"???

Apart from being an awesome band, what is "Kalmah"? What does it mean? I've just recently gotten to love the band and I've been listening to them for a week straight. I think that I'm about at the point in my worship where it's safe to say that I'm a committed fan. As such, I'd like to know where the name came from just to satisfy my curiosity.

I thought it meant "till death" maybe im just imagining things, o well its got something to do with being dead i know that much.
