These days it's hot, sticky, raining, humid as hell, overcast, dark, and I'm travelling on the subway / trains getting in and out of the hussle-bussle of NYC.

For the life of me, I can't find any music that fits the mood. Gah.

I'd look to the imminent Agalloch release and the reformation of Empyrium for inspiration...or some melancholic post-rock, Lift Your Skinny Fists is a perfect album for this spell of dreary weather we're having...wouldn't go with stoner rock, that's more for summer road trips than commuting in rainy streets...
