The Luftwaffe's aircraft were poor when compared to the technical perfection of the Spitfire. Not to mention the UK was the one of the first countries to have a nationwide radar monitoring system, which the Germans did not expect.

Believe me, I've studied this subject extensively.

Except that each side defends passionately either the Me-109 or the Spifire. I personally think that the better manouverability of the me-109 at low speeds, more stability at stalling angles, and the fact that the engine wouldn't die during a dive(which would be definitely required for their blitzkrieg) make for a more interesting craft. Even if more difficult to pilot.


And to be fair, Royal Air Force sounds like a name to a chess piece. Luftwaffe is much more hitler, jewslaying and metal.
