Yup. I refuse to attend weeknight shows unless it is a band that I am dying to see. My commute from the WI border into downtown Chicago eats up a lot of my day. Adding the cost for parking and gas or driving 70 miles home from Joliet and it's too much of a pain in the ass.

I also put a lot of money into my house and bought a new car this year so bills rack up fast.

Going to shows though keeps me sane, and gives me something to always have to look forward to (outside of family stuff, which is great too of course).

Going to shows has always been my escape.

I don't get to go to as many as I would like.
