What the Hell Is Everyone's Age Around Here...

Yup. Actually, I always thought that metal was for young people. Of course, I find it cool that older persons enjoy metal too.

Older persons like Harry (not the Tyrant) and myself? :err:
Hell, I started listening to Metal when I was 14, and that was 1980
There's still nothing better than good old traditional Heavy Metal :headbang:

Older compared to us I mean! At your age, you're not considered old persons.

I'm 36. I'm so old that I actually bought the Hit Parader cassette (with Eyes of the Night on it) when it was offered! I loved 'Eyes', but could never find any of their other stuff back in the day.

And no, you never outgrow your love of metal! Much to my Mom's chagrin!

I saw Iced Earth a few months ago with my neighbor who is 18 years old. It was odd to be at a show with a guy literally half my age. Of course, he's all fired up "Let's go to the front row!", whereas I would have been content a little further back.

i'm 37...i remember buying the EP and Ample Destruction on vinyl at the independent record store (sliped disc in valley stream, ny) back in 83-84...

I'm 24, will be 25 in December. have a good decade + of metal under my belt and i sure as hell have a good 8 decades more left in me atleast :)
