... do all you guys now use to download your mp3's and shit nowadays? With AG collapsing I have no fucking idea what prog to use. Are there any alternatives that are as good as AG was? I know im abit behind, but I havent been online for yonks.

Not as good as AG, but IRC is good once you learn how it works, and WinMX is ok...for a napster clone...

Winmx is really good, if you have a primary connection. AKA, fast internet, like cable or dsl. It's still pretty decent if you don't have one, but I find I get more results than my 56k friends.

I pretty much stopped downloading MP3s. I´ve tried Kazaa Lite but it´s horrible for finding music. It´s great for movies and television shows though...

What I do is buy the CD and rip MP3s from that. Then I return the CD and get my money back, saying it was defective or something. Then I can listen to the MP3s and decide if I like the album or not, with no money lost. Pretty clever, I think.

Haha, yeah I used to do that alot. I still do it with videos and DVD's. If they turn out shit, take em back and get your money.
