On the other hand, I saw a nuclear propaganda-flick from the 50's a while ago... an animated turtle walks around singing "duck, take cover" while atom bombs fall... a family on picnic actually hides under their picnic-blanket when a bomb falls a mile away or so! Remember kids, just "duck, take cover!".

Bomb shelters will most likely collapse underneath the sheer power of an apocalyptic nuclear blast. You will die under the falling rubble.

...the proper thing to do is to lock your doors and windows. That'll stop it.
