What you reckon to these drums?

Gave myself a challenge of creating metal drums using only stock BFD2 kitpieces. External processing yes; using T-Racks3.

I'm pretty sure the processing I did outside BFD2, I could've done inside. But I just got T-Racks3 so I wanted to play around with that.

Whatup dude. This is good, but a little bit different than what I usually like, so my comments may not mean that much to ya! That, and I just ripped on the peace pipe, AND I have fucking pneumonia and I am on some serious medication!!!

Snare has a little too much reverb, and I think a little too much in the high mid-range - needs to be a little smoother. Toms are a little cold sounding as well, would say they're a little too hot in the high mid range as well. Bass Drum is good, but very quiet - needs to come up more, and maybe a little more compression to bring out the low and high end.
Otherwise, the HH and Cymbals sound awesome as is.

Did you do this in Reaper? What does processing look like - inserts, folders, etc.

Nah man, I'm using Logic now. I gotta get some new monitors for a start!!

How are you liking Logic dude? I've seen it a few times and it looks very confortable to work with.
If it's any consolation, I need better monitors too man.

Logic 9 is sick man. Got some really good additions. I'm not noticing much in the way of audio-engine changes, and the included amp models do suck (except the Sunshine one, that ones pretty good) but the drum replacement and flex mode are awesome!

It's done being mixed. Is getting mastered soon, then artwork, etc... not sure when though. Hoping for a late September release.
